This event is a USEA Educational Activity and considered an unrecognized competition for the purposes of qualifications and USEA Leaderboards ATTENTION MINI TRIALS COMPETITORS: Big Changes beginning at the August 9th Mini Trials. In keeping consistent with the USEA, the Starter max heights are now 2’3″; and since they have added a NEW Introductory Level, we are making the following additions and / or changes. Adding the NEW Introductory level with a max fence height of 18″, no oxers in show jumping. Dressage tests (Intro Test B) can be read, and limited verbal assistance in the jumping phases. The cross country course will be longer with NEW fences built just for this level. The current Intro division will now be called Tadpole with no changes other than dressage tests will be allowed to be read and limited verbal assistance in the jumping phases. There will be no Very Green divisions. Riders will need to choose between Intro or Starter While our goal is and has always been to be an introduction to the sport, we are still preparing riders for USEA Recognized competitions and to help the horses and riders to safely and confidently progress through the levels. We believe making these changes makes for a smoother transition between the levels.
