After graduating from the University of Kentucky Cosby made the decision to spend a year in the UK. The year included winning best first timer at Boekelo and completing her first 5* and the time has now been extended. a decision aided by receiving the Wilton Fair Grant and Essex Horse Trial Grant from the U.S. Eventing Association Foundation, both of which are awarded to young riders training to represent the U.S. in team competition.

Cosby grew up on an eventing barn in Lexington and was a regular visitor to the Kentucky event and was naturally drawn to the sport. She was named to the 2022 ‘emerging athlete’ eventing 2025 list, was the Advanced Intercollegiate Champion and overall second-ranked USEF Advanced Young Adult.
