Transport back in time to the long format of three-day eventing by competing in a USEA Classic Series event in the New Year! The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce that the 2024 Classic Series calendar is now available. Traditional long-format events from the Beginner Novice to Preliminary levels are still a reality thanks to the USEA Classic Series and include roads and tracks, steeplechase, and cross-country on “endurance day,” as well as horse inspections and additional educational activities throughout the weekend.
Planning to compete in a Classic Series event? Click here to make sure you are qualified, and view the list of participating events below. As a reminder, the qualification requirements for all levels of Classic Three-Day competition have been updated within the past year to make the events more accessible to a broader range of competitors.
For Beginner Novice or Novice Classic Three-Day Events, the competitor and horse as a combination must achieve one or more Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) at the level or higher within 18 months of the start of competition in order to compete. For Training through Preliminary Three-Day Events, the competitor and horse as a combination also must complete one or more MERs at the level or higher, but their qualifications can be achieved within 24 months of the start of the competition.
Please keep in mind that the calendar is a tentative list of events that is subject to change. Continue to check the USEA Classic Series homepage for updates throughout the year.
