Young Rider Training Sessions

Young Rider Training Sessions & NAYC Candidate Training Session

Once again Area VIII is offering two camps for 2020. Both camps will include instruction in all competition phases, as well as informational sessions on a variety of topics. Riders will be grouped by ability and instruction will cover Starter/Beginner Novice through Intermediate levels.

These are day camps and riders are expected to participate in all group instructional meetings and riding sessions, as well as auditing training sessions for other riders (or setting jumps, etc.). Snacks, lunch, and water will be provided.

Priority will be given to applicants who are registered Young Rider members but our training sessions are open to ALL riders, adults and non-YR-members.

NAYC Candidates:

Please note, Camp South is also a Mandatory Training Session for all those hoping to compete at 2020 Young Rider Championships. Midsouth Pony Club Horse Trial is a mandatory outing for NAYC Candidates and is a separate entry.  Please request Young Rider Stabling to keep your stalls for the duration of the weekend.
